Intensive Organizational and Community Training

Building your Team Bundle

This three-to-five-day strategic planning exercise for Tribal programs, departments, or organizations is an intentional, values-based practice. Team members collaborate to identify cultural strengths that should be prioritized before determining the services offered, how they are delivered, or who will provide them. This highly interactive, enjoyable, and insightful process brings teams together, significantly reduces lateral violence, and fosters effective teamwork.

Creating a Community Bundle

This intensive requires a minimum one-year commitment between a Tribal government or another leadership body within a Tribal community and Juniper & Pine.

The Indigenous-informed, healing-centered engagement process uses an evidence-based model that combines deep, traditional knowledge with neuroscience. Together, we will form a strong alliance to address historical trauma from a multi-factor, multi-level format to reduce stress, vicarious trauma, and lateral violence. When leadership understands how these are playing out in programs and fueled by contemporary toxicity, they can better support program staff, who will help our relatives who present for services.

The customized partnership involves at least four on-site meetings with the organization, program, or community. The initial historical strengths assessment includes interviews with leadership, staff, and community members to identify target areas for strengthening and uplifting.

Together, we will dive deep into your work, the work you want to do, and what is getting in between the two. We will look at how to make changes that align with your community and cultural values and partner with Elders or Knowledge Keepers in your area. External Evaluation for Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs

This on-site evaluation includes a comprehensive assessment of the environment, reviewing policies, and analyzing consumer files, job descriptions, resumes, and team structure. Interviewing staff members and, if desired, consumer advocacy groups can help identify service gaps, strengths, and opportunities for improvement. A detailed summary report will be provided.
